The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a Moncks Corner road accident on Thursday afternoon.
Christopher Jenkins, 88, from St. Stephen, was pronounced deceased on the spot.
The collision occurred on North Highway 52 in Moncks Corner shortly before 1 p.m.
Jenkins was the only occupant of a 2005 Lexus SUV.
Berkeley County EMS, the Berkley County Sheriff’s Office, and Moncks Corner Fire & Rescue all came to the scene.
Both the coroner’s office and the Moncks Corner City Police are looking into the event.
