2 Killed After Car Crashes Into Shipping Container in West Sacramento, Police Say

Two people were killed in a collision that occurred in West Sacramento early on Sunday morning, according to the West Sacramento Police Department.

At approximately 7:20 in the morning, a vehicle that was located close to Jefferson Boulevard and 15th Street ran through a fence, entered a parking lot belonging to a business, and then collided with a shipping container, according to the police.

“Both the driver and the passenger passed away as a result of their injuries,” the police stated.

Investigations are being conducted to determine what caused the collision.
