An accident involving a motorbike that occurred on Farmington River Turnpike on Sunday afternoon resulted in serious injuries, according to the police.
At three minutes and eleven seconds past three o’clock in the afternoon, the Connecticut State Police received a report of a motorbike accident at the intersection of the turnpike and Route 219.
According to the police, the driver of the vehicle came away with serious injuries, but they were not considered to be life-threatening. A Life Star medical helicopter is reportedly transporting the individual to a hospital at this time, according to the reporting.
It has been reported by the police that a wrecker has been sent to the location in order to tow the motorcycle.
