Fiery Crash Involving 3 Box Trucks Shuts Down I-5 Off-ramp to Grapevine Road

The northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp to Grapevine Road was briefly closed on Sunday (June 1) due to an incident involving three box trucks.

The northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp is now back open.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the trucks, which were traveling in a convoy, lost control while negotiating the off-ramp, causing all three vehicles to collide.

One of the trucks overturned and caught fire as a result of the collision, while another was heavily smoking before the crash.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one individual suffered minor injuries.
