Three Maryland residents arrested for stealing “thousands of dollars” from Shippensburg Walmart

Two women and one guy are in Franklin County jail today after stealing from Shippensburg’s Walmart, which could have cost the store thousands of dollars.

Krystyna Maria Dyson, Jessica Ellen Miller, and Johnny Ray Wilkes were all charged with felony receiving stolen property. Dyson is also charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled drug. Dyson, Miller, and Wilkes are all being held on $25,000 bail in Franklin County.

Around 1:30 p.m. on January 15th, Pennsylvania State Police Troopers were notified of an active retail theft at Walmart on Conestoga Drive in Southampton Township. Troopers were approaching the area when they were informed that the three suspected shoplifters had taken “several thousand dollars” in stolen products and were departing the property in a dark-colored Toyota.

Around 2 p.m., Troopers discovered a car matching that description, as well as the alleged thieves inside, near Olde Scotland Road and Leasing Drive, Southampton Township. Troopers pulled over the vehicle after it entered I-81 and discovered a box stuffed into the back seat that matched some of the allegedly stolen products. The driver, Jessica Miller, was asked to search the vehicle, but she declined.

After obtaining a warrant, Troopers discovered many thousand dollars worth of Walmart stuff, including a Hisense Roku TV, a Mainstays heated blanket, and various other specified items from the store.

During the search, PSP Troopers said they discovered a plastic bag with two suspected “scramble” pills. These tablets, they claim, were discovered in Dyson’s things.
