Six people, including three adults, were arrested on Thursday after a fight broke out in the hallways of Tampa’s Chamberlain High School.
According to the Tampa Police Department, 19-year-old Jordan Ford and 19-year-old Stanley Louissaint, who are not affiliated with the school, engaged in a violent fight with three students on campus around 8:39 a.m.
The School Resource Officer and Tampa Police officers took all five into arrest. No one was seriously injured.
During the inquiry, it was discovered that Jynessa Brown, a 40-year-old Hillsborough County Public Schools employee, assisted Ford and Louissaint in entering the campus while off duty. She was in her school uniform at the time.
Brown was arrested and charged with felony child abuse and misdemeanor disruption of a school site or event, as well as trespassing on school premises.
Ford and Louissaint are charged with felony child abuse and misdemeanors for interrupting a school campus or function, trespassing on school grounds, resisting arrest without violence, and affray.
The three students, ages 14, 15, and 16, are charged with possessing a weapon on campus, disrupting a school function, and resisting arrest.
