Mahogany Memphis will soon open a second site on Mud Island, appropriately titled Mahogany River Terrace.

Carlee McCullough and Veve Yates co-own the original Mahogany restaurant, which is located in Chickasaw Oaks Village at 3092 Poplar Ave #11. Although the exact location of the upcoming restaurant has yet to be revealed, I Love Memphis has speculated that it will be adjacent to the amphitheater, taking up a long-vacant spot.

The original Mahogany menu, known for its elegant southern gastronomy “with a dash of creole,” includes dishes such as cajun fried chicken, shrimp and grits, deep-fried lobster tail, and seafood pasta.

The future Mud Island site will have the same delectable meals and stylish environment, as well as an appealing upstairs lounge that will perfectly enhance the overall experience.
