Chick-fil-A’s Spinoff Restaurant Set to Introduce Pizza Options Next Week

A Chick-fil-When you want a hot and fresh pizza, you probably don’t think of going to a restaurant. However, a spinoff cafe founded by the ultra-popular chicken chain has just expanded its menu with not just one, but multiple variations on the iconic meal.

Little Blue Menu, a digital-only Chick-fil-A spinoff, opened in College Park, Maryland, in September 2023. The concept’s name is derived from the original blue menus used by the late Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy at his first restaurant, The Dwarf Grill, which was later renamed The Dwarf House.

Little Blue Menu was created as a means for Chick-fil-A to test innovative new menu items. It serves standard Chick-fil-A fare like the Chicken Sandwich and waffle fries, as well as some exclusive alternatives not found at a typical Chick-fil-A. Think burgers, sweet potato tots, onion rings, Brussels sprouts, cinnamon rolls, and a variety of chicken wings.

Beginning March 18, pizza will be the newest exciting innovation that customers may try at Little Blue Menu. The eatery intends to start serving five new pies alongside a new calzone-inspired option.

  • Chick-fil-A Pizza Pie consists of a pizza crust covered with mozzarella cheese, chopped Chick-fil-A Nuggets, Chick-fil-A Sauce, and pickles.
  • Buff-lo-Ranch Pizza Pie: pizza dough topped with mozzarella cheese, sliced Chick-fil-A nuggets, buffalo sauce, drizzles of homemade ranch dressing, and a sprinkle of lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Cheese Pizza Pie: pizza dough topped with our trademark tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Pepperoni Pizza Pie: pizza dough topped with our distinctive tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and flavorful pepperoni.
  • Meats-n-Veg Pizza Pie: pizza dough covered with our distinctive tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sliced sausage, chorizo, meatballs, mushrooms, and red bell peppers.
  • Pepperoni Pizza: ‘Round is a calzone-inspired dish filled with trademark tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and crispy pepperoni, then baked till crisp and golden brown.

“As an innovation kitchen brand, we are constantly looking at what our customers want so that we can better serve them,” said Stuart Tracy, Senior Culinary Lead Developer. “We watched our customers getting creative with Chick-fil-A toppings on pizzas at home, so we decided to join in! Your taste senses have already recognized the flavors, so it’s love at first bite.”

While the College Park restaurant is the only standalone Little Blue Menu location, Chick-fil-A is now testing a Little Blue Menu food truck in Athens, Georgia. However, the new pizzas are not being served by the food truck.

In other Chick-fil-A news, the company just announced that it will operate its first mobile pickup restaurant in New York City on March 21. In order to cater to consumers on the go, the store will not include a seating area or offer dine-in services. Guests will be able to place orders ahead of time using the Chick-fil-A app and website.

Chick-fil-A is also still providing Mango Passion beverages, which were added to the menu in January. However, these seasonal drinks will not be available indefinitely, so fans should not wait too long to get one at their local Chick-fil-A.
